Starting showering twice a day is the only thing I am happy with myself this summer. I used to shower at evening, but this summer something have inspired me, I should have done this before. Now I shower after and before sleep. After the before-sleeping shower, I also drink a small cup of warm tea to prepare my night. Those help me relax.

It makes me feel really good after the morning shower, my body would be completely awaken, fresh, and clean. A cup of coffee follows up, wow! it can't be better than that. I wish I could have done this when I was a student, I might have better performance at morning classes.

I also thought a shower/bathing was a minimum for personal hygiene, but some pages I read from googling they didn't say so. However, they didn't have references. Some else said it's okay if you feel necessary, and I did feel that way. I am not that kind of guy stays in bathroom longer ten minutes nor a neat freak.

There is one thing for sure, I use more water than before. At least, I didn't cause global warming anymore. I started to shower in cold water, I used to use hot water no matter how hot the day is. Showing with cold water feels really good, I had heard some people claimed it's better for your health, I didn't dare to try. Thanks to the water heater, I got my chance.

I don't think I can shower twice in winter, every time I turned off the hot water at shower in winter, it begins a bloody battle between me and time. I have to dress as quick as I can, or I would shake like a nuts.

If you only do once day, then try one more a day, you will like it!

Tea with food
Nothing better than a cup of warm tea in a cold afternoon. Food is just a supporting role, what you have doesn't matter. But I like bacon and egg, so they must be on dish.

It's been more than a week, the weather has been always cloudy, sometimes, it rained. Spring is possibly being trapped somewhere. Few sips of warm tea or coffee can cheer up me. Rain, go ahead!

Aha... I enjoy exhaling the warm breathe.

The one great thing about Linux is your can make many easy things happen in simple way with your favorite shell.

Someday, I need to take a nap for about an hour. It turned out with this script:

sleep 1h ; while true; do (aplay /usr/share/sounds/error.wav &) ; sleep 0.5 ; done

It will keep playing the audio every half a second until you press Control+C to terminate this script. I actually didn't put it in a shell script file, just simply run it. You probably noticed that I play the audio in a background sub process, the reason to do that is you can make sure that you terminate the script not the command aplay.

What if you need a precise time? It's easy, too.

while [[ $(date +%H%M) != "1011" ]]; do sleep 1; done && while true; do (aplay /usr/share/sounds/error.wav &) ; sleep 0.5 ; done

It calls date to check the time every a second. Once got the time, it will move to next while loop which plays audio.

Remember to man sleep and man date to check up more options for your needs.

Have you rushed for preparing a cup of tea or coffee? or simply too lazy to have one?

About two month ago, I suddenly have idea about how to prepare that. And that is perfect for me. It's simple, the microwave oven.

Pouring enough water to your favorite cup with tea bag or anything you want to put in. I use boiled water, it's not ok to directly drink running water in Taiwan. I also don't put coffee in, but after water being microwaved.

Set timer to about 1 minute, that should be enough to have a cup of hot water. Then enjor your lazy tea or coffee!

WARNING: Do not microwave with your lovely teaspoon or any metal object!

I believe this way is more safer for kids to prepare on their own, they don't have hot pan or hot pot, but only a cup of hot water.
